King Abdullah shows Confidence and Pride for Jordan's Public Security Department

(Sept. 28, 2004, Vancouver, B.C.) HyperStealth Biotechnology Corp. provided information yesterday from His Majesty King Abdullah through His Military Office, the reasons for the delay with the issuing of the new PSD Digital Urban camouflage for Jordan's police (Public Security Department or PSD).
Today His Majesty visited the Public Security Department (PSD) to affirm his support and pride in the PSD while wearing their new digital uniform the King had commissioned for the PSD.
Amman, Sept. 28 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of Jordan Armed Forces, during a visit on Wednesday to the Public Security Department, (PSD), affirmed the necessity of strengthening trust bonds between the PSD and the citizens. The King expressed his confident and pride in the efforts exerted by the PSD personnel and of the security and humanitarian services that the apparatus is presenting to all citizens to save their constitutional rights and dignity. Director of PSD Gen. Muhammad Majed Eitan said that the apparatus of the public security will be always presenting the best security services to save the citizens and the kingdom's properties. //Petra// 281649 Local SEP 2005
Sept. 28 (Petra)--Jordanian daily Al Rai commented in its editorial on Wednesday on His Majesty's meeting with a Kuwaiti economic delegation. Under the heading "Attractive Investment Environment", Al Rai said that His Majesty King Abdullah's meeting with a Kuwaiti economic and trade delegation, and the king's assertion of the attractive investment environment that Jordan enjoys, reflect the prevailing investment climate in Jordan, which is improving due to the legislative, legal and administrative procedures being taken. "The King affirmed Jordan's keenness to provide all facilities to Arab investors," it added, noting that the Kuwaiti delegation praised efforts being exerted by Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah to develop the national economy.
Amman, Sept. 28 (Petra)-- Minister of Interior Awni Yarvas received on Wednesday a Kuwaiti Security delegation headed by Director General of the Kuwait Interior Ministry, Brigadier General Khalil Al Shamali. During the meeting, Yarvas affirmed the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the security domain. The delegation, which comprises a number of security and police officials in Kuwait, was briefed on duties of the Interior Ministry. Members of the delegation hailed procedures that the ministry take to facilitate work . The Secretary General of the Interior Ministry Mokhaimer Abu Jamous also received the delegation and briefed it on the ministry's duties and its mechanism of work. The delegation's visit comes on the sidelines of its participating in a training course on preparing security leadership currently being held in Amman.
PM Receives Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister Amman, Sept. 28 (Petra)-- Prime Minister Adnan Badran on Wednesday received Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah and discussed with him means of enhancing the bilateral relations, particularly in the military fields. Badran stressed the strong relations between Jordan and Kuwait, affirming Jordan's keenness to develop them for the interest of both nations. During the meeting, which was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Marwan Muasher and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Amman Yousef Al Onaizi, the premier reaffirmed the importance of exchanging expertise between the two countries in the military fields. For his part, Sheikh Al Mubarak expressed his country's keenness to enhance its relations with Jordan, praising the cooperation level between them.
